Firstly let me say its great to see some one taking the time to do some research.....just bare in bind it can be dangerous stuff if you don't give it the respect it deserves.......
Insulin is a funny one mate..by its self the gains aren't huge but if you use it in conjunction with AAS the effects can be quite dramatic (dose dependent) due to all the extra nutrients being shuttled around and you will notice an increased fullness after a few days. pre workout give insane pumps in the gym.
Cycle length.....there are a few schools of thought-
month on month off taking using every day
work out days only
every other day
Its what ever you want to try really, If you use it every day though there is normally down regulation of the receptors after a month so you need to come off.
I prefer training days only and use low doses (2-4iu) combined with glucophage two-three times a day. a protocol I constructed from a good bit of reading and experimenting....this was using fast acting insulin not rapid acting.
