I am still playing with my dog in my free time but training BJJ mostly now, or I was until i tore something in my knee

Mosta retired from competing

board has gotten really slow. With the advent of facebook boards are mostly only used for contacts and drug info.
All the socializing seems to have gone to FB

Glad to see some familiar faces!! Sad to hear the board slowed down that much, we used to be hugely busy!!
I'm on Facebook too, and I admit that is how I keep up with all my friends and such. Plus its easier for me to use that because I can access it on my phone lol, I'm rarely actually on my actual computer anymore. Double spiral fractured my tibia and fibula last June though so I've been off the roster so far. Just got cleared this month to start skating again...so can't wait to get back!!! Until I am back fully I have a couple of cars to work on to keep my busy. My fiance and I just procured a 1962 Bel Air...its sweet. Needs some pretty work and a tiny bit of mechanical - mostly ignition and removing the points. Then there is the Chevelle, that is our 1/4 mile car, we are gonna spend this year rebuilding the engine and building the cage for it. I finally get to be involved in old cars and all the stuff I love its awesome.

the board still serves its purpose though, the memory of the great man.

yes most of us are frequenting fb more as that is the best platform for socialising and since this message board changed from anabolic discussion to more of a socialising network, it cant compete with fb.
welcome again, its good to hear you are doing good, its good to hear you are BOTH doing good!

I use FB mostly for weekly activities.
I post when I am going to the gym and to see if anyone wants to roll during off hours, when people are training dogs and if the times have changed.
Stuff like that
and of course just general obnoxious comments and laughing at stupid pictures
I follow a few sites that post up interesting training videos every couple days. keeps me seeing/learning new things

All my friends and most of my family are on facebook, I use it to keep everyone up to date on the goings on with us. A lot of my friends don't live here so it makes it easy to keep up to date on whats going on with them and vice versa. Plus my derby sisters are on there so we keep track of practices, stuff we have going on, etc. I also keep up with NHRA and my favorite drivers on there.
